Konstantin Kostov
Konstantin Kostov urodził się w 1979 we Vrats, w Bułgarii. W wieku 5 lat rozpoczął swoją edukację pianistyczną w Szkole Muzycznej, którą kontynuował w Pleven i w Sofii. Dalszą edukację realizował w Richard Strauss Conservatory w Monachium u profesora Leonida Chiznika. W 1997 r. Konstantin zdobył pierwszą nagrodę w Międzynarodowym Konkursie Kompozytorskim w Sofii. W 2003 r. zdobył Grand Prix na Musik Förderreis Gasteig w Monachium. Od sierpnia 2008 r. jest wykładowcą fortepianu jazzowego na Uniwersytecie muzyki i teatru w Monachium. W 2010 r. zdobył II Nagrodę oraz Nagrodę Publiczności na I Międzynarodowym Konkursie Term Crossover w Petersburgu. Konstantin Kostov dawał koncerty, które były transmitowane w radio i telewizji w Europie i Japonii.
Konstantin Kostov was born in Vratza, Bulgaria, in 1979, and began his pianistic education in his fifth year. Since that time he was interested in jazz and improvised and composed on the keys. He studied classical piano at the Vratza Music School, the State Music School in Pleven and the State Music College in Sofia. In 1997 won the first prize at the international competition for composition in Sofia. After studying in his native country, he continued his studies for jazz piano at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich with Prof. Leonid Chizhik. In 2003 he received the Grand Prix at the Musikförderpreis Gasteig in Munich. In 2007 diploma with distinction. Since August 2008 lecturer for jazz piano at the University of Music and Theater in Munich.
In 2010 he won the second prize and also the public prize at the first international music competition TEREM CROSSOVER in St.Petersburg, Russia. Konstantin Kostov gives numerous concerts at various stages and festivals in Europe and Japan. Many of his performances were broadcasted on radio and television.
